IHCL, GOA REAFFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION ON EARTH DAY 2024

Goa’s largest hospitality company and leader in the tourism sector, reaffirms its commitment to environmental stewardship on the occasion of Earth Day 2024. Aligning with this year's theme of 'Planet vs. Plastics', IHCL, Goa continues to carry forward its century-old legacy with its ESG+ framework of Paathya - driving positive change rooted in IHCL’s core values of trust, awareness and joy.

In an effort to safeguard the environment, IHCL, Goa has implemented various measures to phase out single-use plastic across its properties. Key initiatives include eliminating plastic straws with paper and bamboo straws, replacing plastic-wrapped bathroom amenities and room keys with eco-friendly alternatives and introducing bottling plants to substitute plastic water bottles with reusable glass ones, bottled with treated water.
