GOA HSSC RESULTS; GIRLS OUTSHINE BOYS

A total of 17,511 students appeared of which 14,882 students passed. The overall students that passed is 84.99%. Girls have however outshined the boys once again as 88.06%  girls passed while  81.59% of boys passed. 
In Arts, 4156 students appeared of which 3588 passed taking the total percentage to 86.33%.  In Commerce, a total of 5194 appeared for the exams of which 4715 passed with the total percentage to 90.78%. 

In Science, a total of 5736 of students appeared for the exams of which 4727 students passed taking the total to 82.41%  and in Vocational a total of 2425 appeared for the exams of which 1854 passed taking the total to  76.45%.  

Around 183 specially abled children had appeared for the exams out of which 165 candidates have passed taking the total to 90.16%

Number of candidates who availed Sports Merit Marks are 2980.  While, 180 candidates have passed the exam with the help of Sports Merit Marks.
