DABOLIM & MOPA AIRPORTS RECEIVE BOMB THREAT

Dabolim and Manohar International Airport at Mopa has received an email about a bomb threat. The bomb threat has prompted an increase in the security on the premises. 

Director of the Goa airport S V T Dhanamjaya Rao stated that his office was notified via email in the morning of an explosive device at the airport.

"At this point, we are being extra cautious. The airport has increased security, but flight operations are unaffected, according to Rao.

According to a police official, the bomb disposal squad was searching the area when the Goa police received a formal complaint from the airport officials.

"No stone is being overlooked by us. We are following the established procedure," he declared.
