The project, estimated to cost around Rs 110 crore, has been approved and will now be sent for financial approval: GSIDC Chairman Michael Lobo  •  Goa taxis are set to introduce a QR code-based fare information system after approval at the State Transport Authority meeting. He said winnability remains a key criterion, and not every aspirant can be assured of a ticket. “Every party changes candidates, and 30–40% of winners are new faces every time,” Sawant said  •  CM Pramod Sawant says the Staff Selection Commission is a firm policy decision and there is no question of changing it. He said the system will ensure greater transparency in government recruitment, adding that people want a transparent process.  •  CM Pramod Sawant says the MGP is an NDA partner and should stand with the BJP alliance, pointing out that the party has only two MLAs. He said MGP should not waste time conducting surveys in other constituencies and should understand its limitations.  •  CM Pramod Sawant says Opposition is politicising the Ujjwala scheme, asserting that he is focused on the welfare of Goans; Griha Aadhar and DSSY remuneration will be increased, saying he will reveal the details soon.  •  CM Pramod Sawant says Goa has witnessed “pro-incumbency” due to improved infrastructure and youth-oriented policies under the BJP’s double-engine government. Calling it a “fast train” with “no coming back once you sit,” Sawant says BJP will win the 2027 Goa Assembly elections.  •  CM Pramod Sawant said he is running a transparent government and is clear about various environmental issues. He said the actual facts on Section 39A should have been answered on the floor of the House, adding that he will take decisions in Goa’s interest and there will be a solution on 39A.
