The Forest Department seized two swords and an axe allegedly used for poaching. • The High Court recorded the statement of Saurav and Gaurav Luthra that they are willing to pay ex gratia compensation of Rs 15 lakh to each of the 25 victims. The High Court has asked the victims’ families to respond on whether they accept the offer. The hearing has been adjourned until October 12. • Protocol Minister Mauvin Godinho said existing passenger traffic to Dabolim Airport should not be “cannibalised” by private players.
