RGP MLA Will Not Be Part Of INDIA Alliance: Manoj Parab

RGP MLA Viresh Borkar will not be a member of the unified opposition on the House floor during the next Assembly session, RGP president Mano

RGP MLA Viresh Borkar will not be a member of the unified opposition on the House floor during the next Assembly session, RGP president Manoj Parab announced on Friday.

According to Parab, the opposition parties have never backed the RGP on the issues brought up to safeguard Goa. "We do not wish to participate in the united opposition on the House floor. The party's core committee made this conclusion," he stated.

Speaking at a press conference following a seven-month hiatus from politics, Parab added that the party will not run in every constituency in 2027. "Depending on our strength there, we will run for a few seats," he stated.

Regarding his absence, Parab stated that he had stepped back and was keeping an eye on events in the state. He said that MLA Viresh Borkar took up Goa-related issues, demonstrating that the RGP remained active even while he was away.

Since there is no longer any room for dissent, Parab claimed that the RGP is returning with renewed vigor. The opposition parties, he claimed, have not taken a stance.

Without making any concessions, the RGP will now address the challenges. He declared, "We will carry on with the revolution."

He went on to say that the RGP has consistently been involved in a number of scandals, including the land-grab scam and the cash-for-jobs scam.
