The Sindhudurg district in Maharashtra has got a major boost after the project of Mopa Greenfield Airport in Pernem. According to the real estate developers prices of land will increase to more than 29 per cent in Sindhudurg. Property prices around North Goa, mainly places such as Mopa, Arambol, Assagao, Morjim, and Siolim will also rise.
The Mopa Greenfield International Airport will transform the face of real estate in North Goa. Likewise it will also be a major boost to property prices at Sindhudurg district in Maharashtra which is connected to the Mopa airport border.
According to the real estate developers report property prices will rise as stated below
Properties at Mopa village will rise from 3.90 per cent to 27.10 per cent by 2023-2026.
Properties at Silolim will rise from 1.20 per cent to 12.20 per cent
Properties at Assagao will rise from 2.70 per cent to 11.60 per cent
Properties at Morjim will rise from 3.30 per cent to 14.20 per cent
Properties at Arambol will rise from 2.80 per cent to 15.30 per cent
The prices of properties in Sindhudurg district will rise from 6.80 per cent to 29.20 per cent.
Further, the report stated that around 250 offices, auditoriums, cultural museums, convention centers, malls, and shops are proposed near the Mopa airport. It will give a boost to tourism in North Goa. Average property prices in North Goa and the nearby Konkan region will steeply rise mostly in the range of 25-30 percent annually.
