MGP leader Deepak Dhavalikar has expressed confidence that the party will win at least five seats in the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, even if it contests independently.
Speaking to the media after the party's Annual General Meeting (AGM), Dhavalikar said the MGP is prepared to contest in 16 constituencies and is confident of securing a minimum of five seats.
Dhavalikar clarified that no discussion on an alliance or seat-sharing arrangement took place during the AGM. He said the final decision on these matters would be taken by the MGP Parliamentary Committee.
“I am clear that I will contest from Shiroda, but the matter will be discussed with alliance partners,” Dhavalikar said.
