The Bombay High Court at Goa will hear the matter on September 17. • CM Sawant says the govt will regularise all houses under the ‘Mhaje Ghar’ scheme located in settlement zones as per Regional Plan 2021, irrespective of any zone change after February 2014. He said JERC is the final authority on tariff decisions and the government has no say before the regulator. • Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said Goa will not compromise on the Mhadei River diversion issue and will not allow environmental clearance for the Kalasa-Banduri Project.
