MAYEM BJP MLA PREMENDRA SHET BACKS PANCHAYAT RESOLUTION AGAINST ORE TRANSPORTATION

Mayem BJP MLA has extended his support to agitating villagers who were objecting to the transpotation of Ore through the village roads. Shet said, "I will stand with the villagers and address their concerns as an elected representative of the constituency. I request the governemt to pay heed to their requests and sort out the issue. The authorities must repair the roads and water pipeline first. Huge vehicles communting on roads causes problems for the pipeline." A resolution was passed by the Panchayat against using the village roads for transporting ore in the village. The points were highlighted in the presence of newly elected MLA Premendra Shet and Sarpanch Seema Arondekar along with other Gram Panchayat members who were also present while passing the resolution at Mayem Panchayat today. Goa Forward leader Santosh Kumar Sawant was also present.
