Ahead of Independence Day, the Goa government organised a Tiranga Rally in Panaji, with citizens participating in the patriotic event carrying the national flag.

The celebrations also marked 150 years of Vande Mataram, with an exhibition on the history and significance of the iconic patriotic song organised at Azad Maidan.

The exhibition highlights the journey of Vande Mataram and its enduring place in India’s freedom struggle and national identity.
