The Goa Football Association (GFA) will hold its elections today to elect its president, vice-president, treasurer and members of the executive committee.

The key contest is for the president’s post, where incumbent GFA president Dr Caitanno Fernandes will face Valanka Alemao in a direct electoral battle.

The election is expected to determine the leadership of the state’s football governing body and the composition of its executive committee for the upcoming term.

Attention will be focused on the presidential contest between Fernandes and Alemao, as members vote to decide who will lead the association.
