PWD Minister Digambar Kamat has strongly rejected Congress allegations that he tried to block AICC leader Rahul Gandhi’s meeting in Margao, accusing the party of misleading the public for political gains.
Responding to GPCC President Girish Chodankar’s statement that Congress would never forgive him over the alleged obstruction, Kamat denied creating any hurdles to Rahul Gandhi’s visit or meeting.
The minister also urged the public not to believe what he described as misleading claims, setting the stage for a fresh political face-off between Congress and the BJP in Goa.
