Pernem Police arrested 26-year-old Nagraj Badrapur after allegedly catching him red-handed with 93.52 grams of suspected hashish oil worth around Rs 1 lakh during a narcotics raid at Chonwada, Dhargal; the substance was allegedly concealed in the dickey of his scooter.  •  Canacona Police have booked three persons in connection with the death of labourer Chandra Prakash Jaunpur, who allegedly fell from the third floor of an under-construction building at Agonda; Police allege safety measures were not provided at the site and have also booked the accused for alleged destruction of evidence, providing false information and threatening workers/eyewitnesses.  •  A 73-year-old man, identified as Hanamant Bander of Belgaum, Karnataka, was found lying without signs of life on Platform No. 2 of Vasco Railway Station; he was shifted to SDH Chicalim, where doctors declared him brought dead.
