SC Directs High Court To Expedite Borim Bridge Case

Hearing On Land Acquisition, Construction Challenge To Begin By October 13 Or Earlier

The Supreme Court has directed the High Court to expedite the hearing on the legal challenge to the land acquisition and construction process for the proposed new Borim Bridge, and to commence it by 13 October, or earlier if possible. The directive has come after the State government moved the apex court through a Special Leave Petition challenging an interim stay granted by the High Court.
