Jungle Book 26th May 2026
When people think of Goa, they usually picture golden beaches, seafood, music, colourful clothes, and lively nights. Some may also think of its beautiful churches and old buildings. But hidden beyond the touristy charm is another side of Goa — its rich artistic heritage, known as ‘Kaavi Kala.’ In this Jungle Book episode, Samruddhi Kerkar takes you into the lesser-known world of this unique folk art tradition. Found across Goa and parts of coastal Maharashtra and Karnataka, Kaavi Kala is an ancient mural art created using a deep red pigment made from laterite soil, locally called ‘kaav.’ Artists carefully carve intricate patterns and stories onto white lime-plastered walls, creating striking red-and-white designs. These beautiful murals can still be seen in old temples, shrines, and traditional homes — quietly preserving the soul of the Konkan coast. #JungleBookSeries #Goa #Goa #KaaviKala #HiddenGoa #GoanHeritage #FolkArt #KonkanCulture #IndianArt #TraditionalArt #GoaBeyondBeaches #MuralArt #CulturalHeritage #LateriteArt #ArtOfGoa #JungleBook #SamruddhiKerkar #ExploreGoa #IncredibleIndia #HeritageStories #Konkan #GoaDiaries#HiddenGemsOfGoa #NatureLovers #JungleBookGoa #GoaNature #NatureSeries #GoaForests #Biodiversity #NatureExploration #WildGoa #EcoAwareness #NatureAdventure #BiodiversityGoa #EcoTreasure #ExploreGoa #GoaHiddenGems #ConservationMatters #IndianForests #GreenGoa
