Konkan Railway Police today took strict action against a consignment of fish being transported to Margao, after it was found unfit for human consumption. The incident caused a foul smell at Margao railway station, with stagnant fish water reportedly spreading across the platform, even near the police station premises. An FIR has been filed against the transporter, and further investigations are underway.
