41 year old Pankai Narvekar from Porvorim has become the 1st Goan to successfully climb the world's highest peak (Mount Everest).

Since 2015, Pankaj has successfully climbed peaks like Mt Kamet(7750), Mt Kun(7077m), Mt Kang Yatse-I & II(6400 & 6250m) etc.
He is the father of teenage Goan Mountaineer Gunjan Pankaj Narvekar who has recently broken multiple mountaineering records.
