Amit Shah says the government has adopted a “reverse investigation” model to dismantle drug networks—tracing even a single seized packet back to its source, while large border consignments are tracked down to their intended end-users.  •  Union Home Minister Amit Shah said a model for dedicated anti-narcotics task forces was shared with all states and UTs, while a Joint Coordination Committee was formed in 2019 to bring central agencies, states and departments together.
