The Mapusa Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court has granted interim bail to the wife of one of the accused in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) drug seizure case.
The accused was arrested after NCB officials allegedly seized a large quantity of charas and other narcotic substances during a raid in Mapusa.
Three accused — Pranil Shinde, Sunny Dhupdalle and Shashank Bandekar — were arrested in connection with the case and remanded to three days of police custody.
The investigation into the alleged drug seizure is being conducted by the NCB.
