Goa’s two airports handled more than 11.5 million passengers during the financial year 2025–26, underlining the state’s growing importance as a major aviation and tourism hub.

According to Airports Authority of India data, Dabolim Airport handled 6,126,944 passengers between April 2025 and March 2026, making it the 11th busiest airport in India during the period.

The newer Manohar International Airport at Mopa handled 5,376,516 passengers, ranking 14th nationally. Mopa also recorded a significant 15.8% year-on-year growth, making it one of the fastest-growing airports among the country’s major airports.

Together, Dabolim and Mopa handled 11,503,460 passengers, with the figures combining domestic and international traffic.

While Dabolim continued to handle the larger passenger volume, the strong growth at Mopa highlights the expanding role of Goa’s second airport in meeting the state’s rising air-travel demand. The figures cover passenger traffic recorded from April 2025 to March 2026.
