Goa’s aviation sector is set to see a decline in daily domestic departures in November 2026, with both Goa Dabolim and Manohar International Airport (Mopa) recording lower flight numbers compared with November 2025, according to the airport-wise data provided.
Dabolim Airport (GOI) is projected to handle 53.5 domestic departures per day in November 2026, down from 56 a day in November 2025, representing a 4% decline. Mopa Airport (GOX) is expected to record 37 departures daily, compared with 46.5 in the corresponding period last year, marking a sharper 20% drop.
Combined, the two Goa airports account for *90.5 daily domestic departures in November 2026, compared with 102.5 a day in November 2025 — a reduction of around 12%.
The figures indicate a contraction in scheduled domestic flight capacity at both airports, with Mopa witnessing the steeper decline. The data also shows that IndiGo remains the largest operator at both Goa airports, while Air India Group contributes a significant share of daily departures.
The broader national picture reflects a similar downward trend. Across the top 20 airports listed, total domestic departures are projected at 2,387.5 per day in November 2026, against 2,558 in November 2025, a decline of approximately 7%.
Delhi remains the country’s busiest airport in the table, with 499 daily departures projected, followed by Mumbai at 337 and Bengaluru at 323.5.
