Also, a complaint and a counter-complaint have been filed at the Mardol police station over the conflict. 3- In the Contempt of Court petition regarding sound pollution before the High Court on Monday, Amicus Curiae brought to the notice of the court regarding noise pollution committed in Bicholim during Narkasur. Goa government has informed the High Court that appropriate action has been taken against some restaurants and clubs, that have been found violating sound pollution norms. The High Court will further hear this matter on Friday. 4- Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh has appealed to Christians to join hands with Hindus for the united fight against "love jihad" which is affecting both religions. Addressing a Bajrand Dal rally at Curchorem in south Goa, the BJP legislator said India won't have a Hindu prime minister in the next 20 to 30 years if the population of "jihadis" increases and the number of their legislators goes up. "Love Jihadis don't only target Hindus. I want to appeal to our Christian brothers from Goa. You should watch the Kerala Files (Story) movie even though the film doesn't tell the entire story," Singh said Singh also mentioned Bangladesh alleging Hindus in the neighbouring country were being killed and their shops looted.  “They are appealing for help. I want to say that ‘Bajrangi’ is ready to fight for the protection of Hindus in Bangladesh. Modi ji, just open the gates for 15 minutes and we will do it,” he said, reported the Indian Express. 5- The Union Civil Aviation Ministry has pointed out that Dabolim Airport in 2023-24 handed a total of 68,72,411 as compared to Manohar International Airport which handed around 44,06,087 passengers. The Civil Aviation Ministery was replying to an unstarred question raised by MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade on measures the Government is taking to increase the number of International tourists arriving in Goa. Dabolim handled 4,27,089 international passengers and 64,45,322 domestic passengers. While Mopa handled 1,15,288 international tourists and 42,90,799 domestic tourists. 6- Food & Drugs Administration Director Shweta S. Dessai has urged food vendors and consumers to stop using newspapers for packing, storing, and serving food items, with immediate effect. Dessai has said that anyone found will be fined up to Rs 5k fine.
