Konkani Prime News 021124 These are the top stories for today's Konkani Prime Bulletin:- 1- The body of Shridhar Satarkar, an alleged accomplice of Pooja Naik in the government job case was found hanging from a tree in Mangeshi forest. He was missing for the last few days. Shridhar Satarkar is a government employee. Sources haave informed that Satarkar was quizzed by police in Pooja Naik fake job case twice. The two-wheeler found in possession of Shridhar was registered in name of Pooja Naik. 2- The Directorate of Transport has suspended 6980 licences from January up to September 2024 for violating various traffic violations. The department has suspended 4892 licences for driving/riding without helmet, 762 licences were suspended for over speeding and 415 licences were suspended for driving/riding under the influence of alcohol. 3- Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has requested people to keep their cattle in sheds and not leave them on the streets. He said that if people keep cows at home, the government is ready to give them a subsidy of Rs 150 per cow. 4-The Union Government has filed a compliance report and informed the Supreme Court of India that all schools in Goa have separate toilets for girls. Centre has further said that other than Goa, Delhi, Chandigarh & Puducherry have 100% separate toilets for girls in schools. SC in 2012 had ordered all states & UTs to have separate toilets for girls in all schools. 5- Goa govt to spend Rs 386 crore for Porvorim flyover, 12 piers now in place & foundations for an additional 17 piers completed, flyover to elevated corridor will rest on 86 piers, 1,431 concrete segments will form the corridor 6- Pernem JMFC court remands Sanjay Kole, Laxmi Sandeep Sawant @Anja and Prajay Kole to 7 days police custody, all three were arrested for allegedly murdering Nitesh Parab 7-Goa Forward Party has demanded the government to set up a Special Investigation Team to probe into the fake government job scam.
